On Humanity (12/6/15)

Posted on December 6, 2015 by Millicent
A Treasure (12/6/15)
On Humanity (12/6/15)

O one who is dying by trying to untie the knot you tied yourself,

O one born in Union, you are dying in separation,

O one who sleeps thirsty at the river bank,

You are dying and begging at the side of a treasure.

Ergin, Rubailar, Verse #1, Page 381

Love Whispers (11/15/15)

Love Whispers (11-15-15)
Love Whispers (11/15/15)

Love says, “I will give hundreds, thousands of lives

To the one who gives his life to me.”

Listen to what Love whispers in your ears;

He is pulling you next to Him by pulling on them.

Ergin, Rubailar, Verse #3, Page 220

Hurry Up, Reach Me (10/25/15)

Posted on October 25, 2015November 11, 2015 by Millicent

Hurry-Up-Reach-MeI don’t have any friend besides Love.

Love was with me before I came into this world, and It is with me still.

Soul yells, “O lazy one on Love’s way,

Come on, hurry up, reach me.”

You Are Still Alive (10/11/15)

You Are Still Alive (10/11/15)
You Are Still Alive (10/11/15)

You are satisfied, but I haven’t had enough of this drink.

I am annihilated, but you are still alive.

The millstone turns and cries quietly

As long as water flows through the canal.

Ergin, Rubailer, V. 1, Page 432

Don’t Ask for Reason (9/20/15)

Don't Ask For Reason (9/20/15)
Don’t Ask For Reason (9/20/15)

At night, I turned around the city like wind, running like water

How can sleep overcome the one who walks around the city in darkness?

The mind is the one who wants to have everything in order.

Don’t ask for reason or manners from the drunk.

Ergin, Rubailer, V.98, p. 197
