If Your Heart Were to Hold Your Hand (10/26/2025)

If Your Heart Holds Your Hand (10/26/2025)

Since you haven’t taken care of your heart,

it hasn’t held your hand,

and you haven’t gotten a fair share of Love.

You can’t love just anyone!

If your heart were to hold your hand,

you wouldn’t fall in the mud of lowly desires.

Not even once did my rose get its scent or color

from anyone but my heart.

I have nothing in my hand, yet because of this poverty, I own everything.

How Long Must We Wait? (10/19/2025)

How Long Must We Wait? (10/19/2025)

O One who, without a wine cup, gives to the soul

ecstasy even better than eternal drunkenness,

come, if for only one moment.

Give us our blessing,

that moment which has been cleaned of everything, including cleanness.

How long must we wait for that unique moment? Continue reading “How Long Must We Wait? (10/19/2025)”

Different (9/7/2025)

Different (9/7/2025)

My language is different from the language of others.

My place is different from heaven and hell.

Your Heart (6/29/2025)

Your Heart (6/29/2025)

With the wings of Your heart,

You flew to this desert plain of existence,

which melted in the greatness of Your heart’s expanse.

What is this small plain in comparison with Your heart?

All seven layers of the sky

are only the open palm of Your hand.

Neither Form Nor Direction (10/13/2024)

Neither Form Nor Direction (10/13/2024)

We inherited a boat from Noah as the prize of deliverance.

It sails through storms on the sea of life.

Thoughts, images, sorrows and pleasures

are the plants which grow from this sea.

Like the heart, they have neither form nor direction.
