O heart, if you are aware of the words
“God is with you wherever you are,”
why do you get so confused?
If you forget these words,
you are attributing a partner to God.

He is such a sultan that reason has become his fool.
He and my heart stay in the same house.
He sent a messenger, saying, “I am yours,”
and with that, hundreds of candles became moths for His light.

He is a secret rose garden which bushes are concealing.
He appears in hundreds of different shapes, but He is the only one.
He is a coastless ocean that covers everything.
One wave from this ocean becomes hundreds of waves in every soul.

I am not the man you think you know, you think you see.
Even if you could see, you wouldn’t recognize me.
