Burn That Thing (12/19/2021)

O my Beloved, accept me. Take my soul.

Let me pass through both worlds.

If I settle down with anything other than You,

throw me into the fire and burn that thing.

Like Roses…Like Gold Mines (12/5/2021)

My soul is in the heart of the people who remain always soul.

They are like roses, knowing nothing but kindness.

Everyone has some content.

We are like chips of gold. They are like gold mines.

Crying and Wailing (11/14/2021)

O One who kneaded my hands and feet from mud

My soul, which chews Your sugar, is crying and wailing for You.

About Death (9/19/2021)

*Total destruction of the self before the death of the body.

See My Generosity? (8/15/2021)

See My Generosity? (8/15/2021)

and the sea becomes a drop of dew, who cares?

If it passes out and drops to the ground,

that doesn’t mean it has left My hand.

Divan-i Kebir, Volume 15, Ghazal 98, verses 1116-1118, page 221.

Focus Your Eyes on Absence (7/4/2021)

Focus Your Eyes on Absence (7/4/2021)

You cut me off like an umbilical cord in the name of drunkenness.

Even then, O Cupbearer, why did You leave me?

You create such Love with every breath.

O One who makes everything appear,

why are You not apparent? Continue reading “Focus Your Eyes on Absence (7/4/2021)”
